HWP in cooperation with the HEPA (Hungarian Export Promotion Agency), participated with a joint stand at the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) in Vietnam on 21-23 October. In the framework of the event, Co-president Mr. Róbert Forintos, also signed a cooperation agreement with Prof. Dam Sao Mai, Vice Rector of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.

The purpose of the conference organized by the Hungarian Water Partnership and the businessman's meeting arranged by CED was to strengthen cross-border water industry cooperation and promote bilateral professional dialogue.
 

The General Assembly of the African Water and Sanitation Association (AfWASA) held in Togo has taken the final decision to register Dr Károly Kovács PhD, President of HWP, on the AfWASA Strategic Council.
The African Water and Sanitation Association (AfWASA) has been working for nearly 45 years, to solve the water challenges the continent faces.

On July 11, HWP concluded a cooperation agreement with the Defence Innovation Research Institute Nonprofit Ltd. (VIKI). The document was signed by László Deme, the appointed CEO of VIKI, and Zoltán Horváth, the managing director of  HWP's management company, the HWP Nonprofit Ltd.

The Hungarian Water Partnership (HWP) participated in IFAT Munich, the world's leading trade fair for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management. In addition to the presentation of UN certified, sustainable and cost-effective drinking water and wastewater treatment solutions, HWP also organized a forum during the expo.

Dr. Károly Kovács was selected as a member of the renewed Strategic Committee of the AfWASA for a two-year mandate, which marks a cross-continental professional cooperation of strategic importance. 

On April 22, a Hungarian-Vietnamese business forum was held in Budapest for the occasion of the visit of Thai Binh's province delegation.

Official delegation from Sierra Leone, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, composed of the the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Deputy Minister of Water Resources & Sanitation, other authorities and business professionals visited the HWP’s headquarters in Budapest on 9 April 2024. The delegation met with the presidency of the HWP and CEOs of HWP’s member companies. 

The 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, this December. As expected, more than 45,000 participants - including heads of state, government officials, international industry leaders, private sector representatives, academics, and experts - attended the conference every day.

Innovative Hungarian water industry technologies to improve living conditions in developing countries - at the “Water and Development” congress of the International Water Association (IWA) in Kigali (Rwanda), HWP invited the excellence of the international, European and African water industry to a panel discussion in the framework of an independent workshop.
