Romania is an important target market for many HWP member companies. With the help of CED, the representatives of our organization and some of our member companies had successful negotiations during EXPOAPA. Dr. Károly Kovács' presentation was followed with great interest by the audience.

There was great interest in the activities of HWP and its member companies during Watrex Expo. Our organization was a co-exhibitor at the stand of the Hungarian Export Development Agency - HEPA, together with three other Hungarian companies. The event took place between May 15-17 in Cairo. 

Our member companies' commitment to sustainability was acknoweledged and HWP received an award as the most active professional partner at the opening event of the 8th Carpathian Basin Sustainability Theme Week

WooMa Doo, which deals with the unusual recycling of sewage sludge, NanoCleanWorld, which offers a unique plumbing cleaning solution and Aquaconsult, which performs engineering activities joined HWP. Thanks to our new members the scope of HWP's water industry capabilities has been further expanded.

HWP took part as an accredited organization in the UN 2023 Water Conference in New York between March 22-24

On January 30, the Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd. for Applied Research joined our ranks, thus becoming our first new member this year.

In order to prepare for next April's Accra Water Forum, Zoltán Horváth had met with local partners in the capital of Ghana.

HWP has been cooperating with its partner in Hanoi, the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association, for many years. It was time to renew the trilateral agreement, which includes the Hungarian Water Association too and to set up a work plan.

The board game "Pipe it up, Ghana", developed by the Pureco Group, a member company of the HWP, was officially launched in Accra in the participation of the Ghanaian Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources and the Ghanaian Ministry of Education, the Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies and the Embassy of Hungary in Ghana.
