The purpose of the cooperation is to put the professional competences of HWP at the service of PontVelem Nonprofit Kft.'s annual Sustainability Theme Week.

It’s Friday evening and IFAT had closed its gates in Munich. The noise faded away in the giant halls of Messe München which are empty now. Well, it was definitely a busy, exciting, but also very succesful week for Hungarian Water Partnership (HWP) and its exhibiting member companies, UTB Envirotec, Inwatech (both as co-exhibitors of the HWP), Waterscope, Pureco and Puraset in Munich.

The president of HWP, who previously held the position of president of the European Water Association (EWA), was elected a permanent honorary member at the association's council meeting in May.

Hungarian Water Partnership represents its 16 member companies at this prestigious international trade fair that lasts for a week.

Initiated by the HWP, a tripartite cooperation has been established within the Hungarian-Ghanaian water industry cooperation framework to provide professional assistance to the Ghana Water Company Ltd.

The HWP's management, representatives of both its member companies and its strategic partners have met in person for the first time after Covid restrictions.

The cooperation agreement signed in April facilitates HWP’s member companies and the individual waterworks falling under Nemzeti Vízművek Zrt. to join efforts on foreign markets.

HWP and five of its members are going to participate in one of the most prestigious trade fairs in Europe. 

Károly Kovács, President of HWP, attended a panel discussion of the International Water Business Forum during the Dubai 2020 World Exhibition.

The president of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, Mr Gyula Pomázi visited HWP on 3 February. He was the guest of the HWP Forum, the regular virtual club organized for the HWP member companies. In his presentation titled "Intellectual property, the oil of the XXI. century (?)" Mr Pomázi argued for smarter protection of intellectual property by Hungarian SMEs, in particular when doing business abroad.
