The conditions in waste- and wastewater management and sewerage and the related investment opportunities in the westernmost region of Ukraine were on the agenda of the conference held in Makkosjánosi (Yanoshi), on the Ukrainian side of the border with Hungary.

HWP and its member companies, Pureco Ltd. and Puraset Ltd. attended Watrex Expo, the leading trade fair for waste water & water treatment technologies in Cairo, Egypt. HWP also  hosted a workshop about best practices of the Hungarian water industry.

Two years ago, Pureco-Unit Consortium started its first major investment in Africa in the city of Kumasi, Ghana. A unique solution for the treatment of the city's untreated wastewater was designed and built under the name Septopure technology.
