The Hungarian Water Partnership will host the session titled "Bankable and Sustainable WASH Solutions" on 18 February 2025 starting at 1.30 PM, which is included in the official programme of AfWASA’s 22nd Congress (session no. 2.3.5.2.
The purpose of the workshop is to find and share answers to the following questions:
- If full-scale and inclusive water infrastructure development in the world’s wealthiest regions is deemed unbankable, how can we expect it to succeed globally?
- What alternative solutions can we offer and implement to accelerate the achievement of SDG 6 on the African continent?
Furthermore, the President and General Secretary of HWP, Dr Károly Kovács and Mr Bálint Horváth, will deliver three presentations:
- "Bankability of Water Infrastructure: Pressure to Implement New and Adaptable Approaches" – Dr Károly Kovács (18 February, 11:15–11:30, Session 2.2.5.1).
- "Septopure® FSM: Proper Management of Affordable and Sustainable Wastewater Solutions in Large Cities Without Sewers" – Mr Bálint Horváth (19 February, 14:30–14:45, Session 3.3.3.3).
