The Hungarian pavilion was visited by, among others, the Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, who had the opportunity to learn about the innovative Hungarian solutions of the 21st century for water and wastewater management, railway and bridge construction.
Among HPW's key partners were Mr Ngyuen Ngoc Diep, Director of Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) and Deputy CEO of Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), with whom Mr. Forintos met personally on site.
Vietnam is a key market for European investment and Europe is a key market for Vietnamese exports, so the “Building Green Future” event organised by EuroCham Vietnam will focus on showcasing European innovation and sustainable solutions.
We are particularly proud that Hungary's active presence in Vietnam was welcomed at the plenary session on the opening day of the GEFE. One of our member companies, Puraset, was mentioned as a positive example in connection with the water plant in Quang Binh province, as well as the PuraWell water purifier donated to the kindergarten.
With a B2B and B2G focus, GEFE aims to bring together stakeholders committed to sustainable development - government officials, businesses, educational institutions, NGOs - to develop joint solutions to strengthen the green economy. As co-president of the HWP, Mr. Forintos signed a cooperation agreement with Prof. Dam Sao Mai, Vice Rector of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.
