The study describes the regulatory framework for water management in Hungarian environmental law, outlining the division of tasks between the various actors, specifying the financing tools related to water utility activities, and examining the legal instrument in force in Lao PDR. By comparing the current environmental regulations of the two countries, it makes suggestions for the development of legal regulations for the planned wastewater treatment system.
