Over a decade ago, export-oriented Hungarian water companies joined forces to form a cluster aimed at strengthening their international presence, successfully delivering solutions across many regions of the world.

In response to the rapidly evolving global water sector, the organization renewed its strategic priorities in 2019, creating a more open, competitive framework with a strong focus on SMEs and an expanded international network.

The Hungarian Water Partnership builds an independent professional network that connects Hungarian technological, engineering, and consultancy expertise across the full water cycle. Its members provide solutions ranging from drinking water and wastewater treatment, water reuse, stormwater management and desalination to irrigation, hydrogeology, measurement technologies, and complex water infrastructure development, supported by R&D, education, financial advisory, and project design services.
