Workshop on Water Sector Partnerships in the Carpathian Basin and Beyond
From 7–9 October 2026, Budapest will host ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA 2026 — one of CEE's leading international trade exhibitions and business forums dedicated to environmental technologies, water management, waste management, circular economy, and sustainability.
Organized by HUNGEXPO in cooperation with the Hungarian Association of Environmental Enterprises (HAEE), the event serves as a key meeting point for decision-makers, policymakers, researchers, technology developers, investors, utilities, municipalities, and industry leaders, showcasing innovative solutions that support the green transition and sustainable economic development.
Workshop on Water Sector Partnerships and Cooperation in the Carpathian Basin and Beyond

As a key partner of ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA 2026, the Hungarian Water Partnership (HWP) will organize the workshop "Water Sector Partnerships and Cooperation in the Carpathian Basin and Beyond".
We will bring together leading international representatives of water associations, utilities, government authorities and international organizations to discuss how strategic partnerships and cross-border cooperation can strengthen water security, resilience, and sustainable water management across the Carpathian Basin and beyond.
Participants will exchange experiences, showcase successful cooperation models, and explore new opportunities for regional and international collaboration. The workshop will also provide an excellent networking platform for building partnerships and fostering future initiatives within the international water sector.
The program will be conducted in English.
