Conference Objective

The main objective of the conference is to present the latest information, research findings, and operational experiences in the following areas:

  • current legislation regarding wastewater collection and treatment,

  • integrated approach to protecting receiving waters and stormwater management,

  • design, assessment, construction, rehabilitation, and operation of sewer networks,

  • hydrobiology,

  • hydrochemistry, and analytical chemistry of water and sludge,

  • mechanical, physicochemical, and biological processes for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, municipal and small-scale (domestic) wastewater treatment plants,

  • nutrient removal and recovery,

  • reuse of treated wastewater,

  • sludge management and handling at wastewater treatment plants,

  • measurement, control, and optimization of wastewater treatment processes,

  • micropollutants in wastewater,

  • operational savings,

  • energy self-sufficiency, and the carbon footprint of wastewater treatment plants.

The conference will feature the "Forum 33" competition for the best presentation and poster by authors aged 33 or younger.
