Hungarian - Vietnamese Water Cooperation in Focus at Vietnam Water Week 2025
Hungarian water expertise was prominently featured at Vietnam Water Week 2025 in Hanoi. HWP member company Puraset presented its AsMET arsenic-removal technology, while HWP Secretary General Bálint Horváth received a VWSA Commemorative Medal for his contribution to strengthening Hungarian-Vietnamese water-sector cooperation.
Regional water challenges, practical Hungarian technologies and stronger partnerships for Africa

Hungarian Water Partnership at IFAT Munich 2024
The Hungarian Water Partnership represented Hungarian water expertise at IFAT Munich 2024 together with member companies Pureco, Pureco-Tradeland and Puraset. Alongside technologies such as Septopure® and PurAID®, HWP hosted the “Meet the Hungarian Water Industry” forum and signed a cooperation agreement with the German Water Partnership.
Water Korea 2025
The Hungarian Water Partnership and MaSzeSz represented Hungarian water-sector expertise at Water Korea 2025 in Seoul. The visit featured professional presentations, high-level meetings and the signing of a trilateral cooperation agreement with the Korea Water Partnership, opening new opportunities for knowledge exchange, technology cooperation and Hungarian water-industry exports.
HWP at AfWASA: Hungarian Water Expertise and Bankable Solutions in Uganda
The Hungarian Water Partnership presented Hungarian expertise and sustainable, bankable water solutions at the AfWASA Congress in Kampala. HWP’s seven-member delegation contributed professional presentations, organised a high-level international panel and held bilateral discussions with government, business and financing representatives from across Africa.
Hungarian Water Partnership at GEFE Vietnam: Building Green Partnerships for the Future
The Hungarian Water Partnership joined HEPA at GEFE in Vietnam to showcase Hungarian water and infrastructure solutions, strengthen partnerships with VWSA and SAWACO, and expand B2B and B2G cooperation. During the event, HWP Co-President Róbert Forintos also signed a cooperation agreement with the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.
Hungarian Water Partnership Strengthens Eurasian Water Cooperation at ASEM Water 2024
The Hungarian Water Partnership co-organised the 6th ASEM Water International Conference in Changsha, where HWP President Dr. Károly Kovács contributed as a keynote speaker, plenary chair and Vice-Chair of the ASEM Water Academic and Development Committee. Hungarian - Slovak Water Cooperation in Focus: ESG, Resilience and the Future of the Water Sector
The Hungarian Water Partnership and CED organised the Hungarian–Slovak Water Industry Meeting in Komárno to strengthen cross-border cooperation and examine the impact of ESG, the EU Taxonomy and climate resilience on the water sector. The event brought together utilities, industrial companies and sustainability experts and concluded with B2B meetings between Hungarian and Slovak businesses.
Hungarian Water Partnership at the 25th International Business Fair Mostar
The Hungarian Water Partnership represented its export-oriented member companies at the 25th International Business Fair Mostar, held from 16-20 April 2024. With more than 800 exhibitors from around 30 countries, the event provided a strong platform for B2B networking, technology transfer and new cooperation opportunities for Hungarian water-sector companies.
